We are a family owned winery and tasting room located on a family farm in White County, Georgia. Founded by Greg and Carol Crumbly, CeNita Winery & Tasting Room is the next step in a dream of creating and establishing a place where great wines are made from our own grapes, where folks can enjoy warm hospitality and where our family can honor the family that gave us roots in White County.
White County is the new heart of the Northeast Georgia Wine County, and CeNita is pleased to be the seventh farm winery to open in this quiet, beautiful county.
We have been growing grapes since 2009 and add another 180-or-so vines each year. Currently we have 3.5 acres planted in European varietals and French-American hybrids. These grapes - Vidal Blanc, Traminette, Barbara, Chambourcin and Cabernet Franc - are thriving. The vintages from the 2014 harvest will be the first to be produced in the CeNita winery. We opened our tasting room to the public in August 2015 with 250 cases, a capacity that will grow with the years.
CeNita Winery & Tasting Room is dedicated to Junita Crumley, the late Cecil Crumley and Lanier and Barbara Chambers. The "Ce" in CeNita is Cecil and the "Nita" in CeNita is Juanita.
