A BITE OF SPAIN underground restaurant is a secret eating and meeting, which is located in somewhere in St. Johns, Auckland.
There are hundreds of restaurants in Auckland. We are not one of them.
We try and make the experience Fun: with the best fresh, seasonal
ingredients available, cooked with finesse, skill and enthusiasm,
without pretentiousness, who all share an interest in spanish food, and people.
We welcome friends with a non alcoholic punch and our feasting menu is included by five selected tapas, followed by a main course (you can choose between four options when you make the reserve)
and dessert 93 to choose). You bring the wine.
we don't ask people to share tables with strangers, as we'll have only 12 people for dinner and plenty of space. As in any common restaurant you can reserve for a couple or a group. You can also reserve for a private dinner if you are 12 or more, then you can choose the menu together with our chef.
You are asked to arrive for 7.30 and dinner is usually finished by about midnight.
The suggested donation on the evening to cover the costs of all that
you will enjoy is currently 48 NZ$ per person.
Many supper clubs ask for payment in advance. We would prefer to just ask you to deposit €10per person into our paypal account to secure your reservation, which you then deduct from your final donation. On the evening you will be given an envelope in which you can place a donation to cover the costs. We have suggested a figure, and it is up to you if you feel that a further 10% or 20% to cover the service should be added.
