Lava Glass is an art glass gallery, glass blowing studio and sculpture garden by renowned NZ glass artist Lynden Over. The complex not only offers a unique and fascinating window into the world of glassblowing but also a gourmet cafe in Taupo, NZ.
Lava Glass was founded in 2002 by award-winning master glass artist Lynden Over and his wife Christine Robb.
The mission of Lava Glass is to make and create beautiful glass objects of desire which will be treasured and admired for thousands of years.
Come and watch the spectacular art of glass blowing, browse the adjoining gallery of collectable art glass pieces and take a stroll through our beautiful garden.
Our garden displays more than 500 glass sculptures and can be hired out for weddings and events.
Entry glass blowing studio: $5 per person/ $20 per family*
Entry sculpture garden: $7.50 per person/ $30 per family*
Combo studio and garden: $10 per person/ $40 per family*

We also design customized art glass pieces - your choice of colour, size and shape.
